Enrolment Information

Enrolment period:
Classes run in conjunction with the State School Term, and run for approximately 10 weeks per term. Enrolments and fees are taken on a per term basis, as we do not offer casual attendance. Enrolment forms are valid for the current calendar year only.

 

Membership fees:
If a student is attending Cheeky Monkey Club for the first time, a one-off membership fee must be paid prior to the first class. This is a one off fee and the remainder of term fees is due the following week. Your enrolment will not be confirmed until both the enrolment form and membership fee has been received. The remainder of the term fee will be charged on a pro-rata basis, depending on which week the student begins in the term. All future term fees will revert back to the standard amount. Fee structure as follows:

 

  • Kindy & Preschool = $25 (includes the first class FREE, plus Cheeky Monkey Club Drink Bottle, Bag, Balloon and Magnet. Also includes administration costs.)

  • Junior, Intermediate & Senior = $15 (includes the first class FREE. Also includes administration costs.)

    Term fees:
    Term fees are due in full and upfront on the first week of each term. Fee structure as follows:



  • Kindy = $120 per term

    •  

  • Preschool, Junior, Intermediate & Senior = $130 per term

    •  

    Parent viewing:
    Parents and siblings/babies are only permitted to stay and view the Kindy level classes provided that noise and distraction is kept to a minimum – for all other levels (Preschool, Junior, Intermediate and Senior), parents are requested to leave the room for the duration of the class (except where the student is attending the class for the very first time – in which case parents are more than welcome to stay and watch the first class only). Special Parent Viewing Days will be scheduled throughout the term so parents can come and see their children’s progress.

     

    Email correspondence:
    Throughout the term, all vital information regarding classes and students will be sent via an email bulletin. It is important that you provide us with a current email address that is checked regularly. If you do not use an email address, please inform our staff so that we can organise an alternative notification method.

     

    Missed classes:
    As enrolments are taken on a per term basis, this guarantees enrolled students a place in their class for the term. Therefore we do not offer a refund/discounts for missed classes. However, pending availability, we do offer make up lessons to students that may be taken in the same age group classes, as per the term schedule. Confirmation is required.

     

    Cancelled enrolments:
    Please note that we do not normally offer a refund of term fees if an enrolment is cancelled, however we will generally offer a credit, which is valid to the end of each year. If an enrolment is cancelled during the term, then the student will receive a credit to the value of the number of remaining classes, which can be used for any Cheeky Monkey Club Cairns service or product. You will need to inform Cheeky Monkey Club staff if your child will not be returning to class.
